Sushi Koo is a family business, opened in 2006 and run by chef Chris Kime and his partner Sarah Head. Chris has previously worked in some of the top restaurants of Sydney and London, and the pair returned to Newcastle to run their own business and raise their two children.
There are currently two Sushi Koo stores in Newcastle - at the Junction Fair Shopping Centre and Marketown Shopping Centre - all owned and run by Sarah and Chris. The sushi is made fresh daily and kept refridgerated instore, ready to be sold straight to you.
